PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS

The needs and demands of modern life have changed. The cost of conventional sources of energy is rising by the day, while the need to protect the environment and to save fuel and other traditional sources of energy has become urgent.

Photovoltaic systems allow you to produce energy yourself, free of charge, or to sell it to your electricity grid (EAC) provider.

SUBSIDIES

Our need to protect our planet and to look for alternative sources of energy, as well as the abundance of sunshine that exists in Cyprus, makes photovoltaic systems an attractive proposition. The Republic of Cyprus offers subsidies to encourage Cypriot citizens to use renewable sources of energy.

These cover grants for systems of up to 20 kWp and subsidies for systems up to 150 kWp. Individuals and non profit-making organisations may receive grants of up to 55% and companies, up to 40% of the total cost of the system before VAT.
